The High School Kayak Research Project, Shed to Sea, immerses students in the waterways of Central Texas to explore how local streams and rivers connect to the greater Gulf of Mexico.
Through hands-on research and fieldwork, students study water quality, ecosystems, and the flow of water through the region. By experiencing these waterways firsthand, they gain a deeper understanding of environmental science, conservation, and the vital role of watersheds in sustaining life downstream.
